Most companies use POP3 email accounts. This POP3 email can be set up in either outlook express or microsoft office outlook.
1. Send Personally
Send Personally for Outlook Express, this software allows to send messages to a great number of recipients from Microsoft® Outlook® Express. Plug-in adds new button "Send Personally" into the toolbar of Outlook Express and offers an alternative method of sending messages from Outlook Express, separate messages being created for each recipient. The final recipient will receive no information about any of the other recipients. Moreover, he/she will see only his/her name and address in the "To" field, as if the message was sent only to him/her.
This way you could send 100 promo emails or announcements/notifications to your customers just in one click. Make sure you have input customers' emails/data in address book.
The main problem with sending messages to several recipients from Outlook Express is that all recipients are in the message heading. If the recipient list is relatively small, this doesn't result in any considerable inconvenience. However, if a message is sent to hundreds of recipients, its heading size might many times exceed the size of the message text and any attachments combined. Moreover, the message that contains more than one recipient can be recognized like SPAM and deleted.
Send Personally for Outlook Express offers an easy solution for this problem. And you won't need to perform any additional actions. The only thing you will have to do is to press the button "Send Personally" instead of the standard "Send" button (you will find it next to the latter).
You could also use four predefined macros in the message body or subject line, these predefined macros are optional. You could also use Dear Sir as the salutation of the letter.
- %USERNAME% —replaced with recipient's name. If user name is not available, the macro will be replaced with the part of recipient's address coming before the "@" symbol (the fist letter case will be changed to cap);
- %USERFIRSTNAME% — replaced with first word of recipient's name;
- %USERLASTNAME% — replaced with last word of recipient's name;
- %USEREMAIL% — replaced with recipient's address.
With Send Personally for Outlook Express, no special setup procedures are needed: it is ready to use right upon installation.
